SPY SHOTS - New New Fairfield Squantz Engine 13

Pictures on the NFVFD website of the new Squantz Engine Company Engine 13. Being built by Gowains and Knight in Connecticut. This will be replacing a 20 year old pumper, hopefully will be in by the end of the year. Company A's Engine 6 and Tanker 5 should be in soon as well, I'll have the pics of those up when I can.

Looks like it's coming along good. I was looking on the site and it has listed on there that company A is getting a new enigne do you have any info on that enige?

Company A is getting an Pierce Velocity pumper (Engine 6) and a Pierce/International Elliptical Tanker (Tanker 5.) Squantz is getting their new pumper from Gowains (the only company that put in a bid for something that would fit their ridiculously small firehouse) which is Engine 13. 3 Trucks are being replaced at about the same time departmentwide. We went to the town for a bond to replace all three (the engines are 20 years old, the tanker is 30) and used funds from our apparatus replacement fund as well.
