1771 and BLS4 each transported with Medic to Danbury Hospital..

Why did this car require extrication - there's no doors on the driver's side?!

Just taking a guess here, did they just leave Carmel Beverage with the case of Heineken in the backseat?

He got lucky though, because he was transported to Danbury and the cops couldn't do anything about it? Which I think royally stinks.

Why would the transport hospital matter? I've transported DWI's with Westchester County PD to Jacobi in the Bronx and I've seen Greenwich and CT State Troopers pursue perps well into NYS.

Possibly a stupid question that i don't know the answer too but what is the significance of having a vest that says driver on it? Is it so if someone needs something or anything they know to go to him and not look at every single person looking for the driver?

its for identification purposes- if the truck needs to be moved, or something they know who is the driver and can ID them right away
