Check The Sleeper Berth....

Recently, in my travels, I noticed a tractor trailer on I-35 with the following message on the cab, near the drivers door...

It read:

"In Case Of Emergency, Check Sleeping Berth For Additional Drivers"

I don't ever remember being taught this, but it was a good reminder. When I looked into this some more, I found that some trucking companies have up to three drivers in the truck rotating so that it can make good time.

I knew there could be 2 drivers but i never knew 3 thanks for the info

Spouses, children, hookers, just about anyone might be in that sleeper. Always check.

I agree, even a hitch-hiker that the driver picked up. Good point Seth, always check the sleeper cab for people in an MVA or fire situation.
