FIREFIGHTER/EMT

The Southington Fire Department will accept applications for entry

level Firefighter/EMT from January 11, 2005 until 1:00 p.m. Friday,

February 4, 2005. Applicants must have current Connecticut EMT

Certification. A recent Candidate Physical Ability Test card (issued

after 5/1/2004) will be needed in order to take the written exam that

will be scheduled for early May. To obtain information about CPAT

testing please contact the State of Connecticut Commission on Fire

Prevention and Control, Connecticut Fire Academy at (860) 627-6363 or

(877) 528-3473, extension 221. The application closing date for the

April CPAT testing is February 1, 2005. Applications may be

obtained at:
