MONROE — Thanks to the goodwill of a highway contractor, medical helicopters now have a paved landing pad beside the state police barracks in Monroe to speed the evacuation of trauma victims from that area.

It will be nice to have another resource for helicopter landings to use. This is also pretty close to KJ, who likes to utilize medevacs quite regularly.

It's nice to see the kindness of a contractor, I am sure it will be of good use

to Medevac's and State Police.
