New Hamburg New Tower Ladder

29 posts in this topic

Here are some Spy Shots of New Hamburg Fire District new Sutphen SPH 100 Ladder Tower. The truck should be delivered shortly after Thanksgiving weekend and hopefully placed in service shortly after. We will post additional information about the truck once delivered. These shots were taken when the Committee visited the Columbus Ohio plant this past Thursday and Friday.

Nice looking rig. I love the chevrons on the rear, looks great (and practical).

Surprised no one commented on the blue lights to the rear

I like the new folding steps on the bucket compared to the older ones where the steps hung down about 2 feet. Now its a lot less obstructed.

I like it! Thanks for posting the photos!

Is this replacing an apparatus, or is this first for the department? (Didn't see an old one on the site)

Very nice truck! Good luck with it

I think every firetruck should have blue lights, paid or volunteer.

This is replacing an older Sutphen TL. It was sold earlier this year.

The dept. specs/mounts all the Q sirens in the front bumper, so we try to keep them all uniform.
