You don't see too many Darley apparatus delivered around here.

The blue pump panel is also very interesting.

Not being familiar with Amenia, do they have any industrial hazards?

There is a Metro North yard there

Very nice looking rig.I'm guessing that the 3 slots before the pump panel is for crosslay's. I'm not a big fan of those.

Seth,

Amenia Fire is in the Town as of Amenia, there are two district, Amenia and Wassaic. Very rural area, mostly residential, located in the Harlem Valley right on the CT. border in Dutchess County. Our neighbors to the North, Millerton has had excellent results with their CAFS unit. I got to see the CAFS unit upclose at a house fire with a metal roof with several additions. The CAFS unit once placed into service knocked the crap out the fire. There are pictures here of that fire.

I think they love our blue trucks so much that's why they have the pump panel blue!! :P

The railroad is in Wassaic, close to the line though.

Pretty sure that is in Wassaic's first due. Markmets can confirm. (edit; see - told ya!)

Amenia has MANY farms, a supermarket, multiple stores in taxpayer configs, several gas stations, schools, and a very crowded"Main Street" full of old, 3.5 story wood frames, none of which are small.

And let me clarify the Foam Boy comment...I know about the "Water Boy", and that fits THAT rig, I just am not feeling Foam Boy moniker. Regardless, I look forward to seeing it.

The main street crowding and construction type is a major issue there for sure.

Oh, you don't have to convince me about CAFS! I LOVE it, and think it's one of the best firefighting tools around right now. Down here, it's practically becoming a standard.

I have a feeling that bumper is going to be just a little to long to fit in our engine bay with 31-15 there?

I took a few pictures this afternoon but I told Chief Howard that I would take some shots of the rig after they get a chance to clean her up, it made a long trip to their station and it had alot of road film and salt on it, but here are a few of them using the CAFS system through a portable monitor. The Engine has a 1500 pump, 1000 booster tank and will carry 1000' of 5" as well.
