Yorktown's New Rescue 16

Thanks to a member of the EMTBravo Central Intelligence Task Force (comprised of anonymous reliable sources only), I've got some dirt on Yorktown's New Rescue 16 for all of you that may be interested.

The winning bidder was Rescue 1 (PL Custom) out of New Jersey. It will be on a Spartan chasis. Delivery is expected in 2009.

Here's where it gets juicy. They are keeping the current R-16, renumbering it HM-4, and keeping the cascade system so it can double as a Mask Service Unit. It's primary role will be the Northern Westchester Spill Response unit.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention....as stated in a previous thread, it will be in Yorktown's new red scheme.
