On Sunday November 9th the Montrose FD along with members of Verplanck, Buchanan, Cortlandt VAC, and FDVA particpated in a 1st Annual Veterans Appreciation Day Motorcycle rally from Yonkers to Montrose VA. The local angcies assist with cooking of food and EMS support. Here is a picture of the West Point Military Police Color Guard with Sgt. Josie Graham VA Police k-9 unit.

My seven year old daughter asked me if I could pray with her at eleven oClock on Verterans Day, I told her I had to work so pray for the both of us she said ok,but can we do it again when you come home from work and we did it. After asking her how her day went she told me that she and the rest of her Girl Scout Troop delivered care packages to all the Vets that live in our small village.It gets better than that. The vets do not leave there houses until they recieve there care packages from the Girl Scouts. How great is that. God Bless the U.S.A.
