Requirements/Overview

Have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Have at least one year of fire service experience (paid or volunteer).

Have experience driving/operating fire fighting apparatus.

Be NC Firefighter Level I certified or Nat' Firefighter I

Have a current, valid NC Driver's License.

Have successfully completed NC Emergency Vehicle Driving course.

Must obtain a class B non CDL license within 100 days.

Additional Information

The applicant will be required to successfully complete the courses for and earn NC Fire Code Official Levels I&II certification after hiring.

Copies of High School diploma or GED, driver's license, and current training certificates must be included with your application.
