Millbrook Tiger Scouts Visit Poughkeepsie Firefighters

I took my Den, Millbrook Den 6, Pack 31, on a "Go See It" to City of Poughkeepsie Station 2 to visit the firefighters for Fire Prevention Month. Knowing some of the members working I knew it would be a great day, but I underestimated just how much the boys loved it.

Lt. Levin was a fantastic guide, showing the Scouts the REAL important aspects of both firefighting and "the JOB". Firefighters Cronk and Decuitis did great showing off their Truck, Tower Ladder 2, even letting the boys go into the bucket. It absolutely made their, and my day.

I didn't know they still had that rig. Then again I haven't been to the new HQ yet. Looks like the kids had a great tour. Dan did Andrew stay and work for the rest of the shift? Looks like he could give Cronk a run for his money..... LOL
