New York State Troopers SUV Question?

I was driving today and saw what looks like two new State Trooper SUV. Anyone know if they bought new ones??? I was going to take a picture of them, but kinda didn't think it was to smart to. Anyone have pictures of them??? Thanks in advance.

NYSP has several of the newer Tahoes, one of which is stationed out of Cortlandt. Im sure someone else could elaborate though, perhaps INIT915 ?

Are you talking about the ones with the led lightbar that looks like a strobe?

Actually didn't notice that they were Troopers untill I got next to them. As they came towards me they looked like regular SUV, then saw the yellow strip on the drivers side front panel. I couldn't look that much, the driver infront of me didn't know where they were going, lol.

Yeah I've seen a few out there that are pretty new that have LED lightbars that have red domes on them instead of the clear ones which make the lightbar look like a strobe lightbar they're all over the place.

Actually it has a lower profile LED light bar...poss Patriot...

And it is definitely a Tahoe, not a Suburban...shorter than that pic!

Yes, like Mike said, they are just the same Tahoe's we've been using since 2005. The new model year just has a new look.

I know it's a tahoe I was trying to find a blue tahoe but I couldn't find one they both look the same anyways and the led lightbar kinda looked like the freedom to me but with the red domes instead of the clear ones.

The Crown Vic's have "Patriot", the Tahoe's are "Freedom"

What is the top speed one of those Tahoes get to? I have seen some, not PD, going faster than I thought a Tahoe could ever do regardless of safety.
