Description Of Incident: 1 car MVA down embankment, head on into trees. Heavy front-end, roof, and driver side damage. Vehicle engine compartment on fire, extinguished by first arriving NYSP. Prolonged extrication (approx. 1 hour) due to slope and heavy intrusion of the driver side. Vehicle tied off to E257 with rope plus winch from flatbed tow used. Medevac cancelled due to delayed eta. Multiple extrication tools placed into operation including Hurst tools, saws-all, and air chisel.
