Red is a major player now in the video market with some truly amazing video technology and products....... Now they have their sights squarely on the DSLR market where they intend on introducing their own camera that bridges the gap between video and still phototography........ I think if anyone can do it, they can and I'm sure that things are really going to be interesting in the future as the technologies get refined and the products hit the streets.....

They have some really neat video equipment ( albeit expensive) but I suspect both their equipment and technologies are going to be a part of our futures at reasonable prices which will force the other camera manufacturers to react and compete in both their technology offerings and prices.......
