For those who might be interested in adopting a dog or puppy, NY-PetRescue.org is sponsoring an adoption day, this Saturday, 9-6-08 12PM-3PM at Petsmart, in the Kohl's Shopping Center 421 Boston Post Road Port Chester, NY.

Pet Rescue is a 501 ( c )(3) non-profit animal rescue organization founded in 1982.

Your foster puppies are adorable! Unfortunately, I already have (2) "rescues", and my husband would kill me if I brought another one home!

The adoption day is still on for tomorrow, for now, even with the expected inclement weather.

Hi John. The 4 pups we fostered have all been adopted, as were most of the other puppies that were there Saturday.

We adopted one of 'em ... that makes three rescue's for us!

There are others still available, check on the website, http://www.ny-petrescue.org/

The listings change pretty much on a daily basis.

If you see a dog or cat that you think you might like, call and/or send an email.

There is no need to wait for an adoption day if interested in rescuing any one of them.

They sometimes come and go quickly.

The next adoption-day has not been finalized, yet.
