West Point cadets’ proving ground: A day with FDNY

NEW YORK (AP) — Before entering the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan, West Point cadets got a taste of chaos, New York City style.

More than three dozen cadets hit city streets Saturday with the Fire Department’s emergency medical technicians.

I had one of these cadets on my unit that day durring the evening tour. She was verry eager to learn anything we could show her but unfortunately all we got were a bunch of bs EDP calls and one decent cardiac job at the verry end of the shift.
