My trip to Richmond,VA

Went to Richmond for 2 weeks spend time with my buddy While i was down there last thrs his house caught fire, Its ok tho only fire damage to 1 room and smoke and water damage to 2nd floor just little water damage to 1st floor, VERY LUCKY I was there at the time and got the FD there fast,It was in ruel area about 40 mins west of the city, small town and county,They have 5 stations 3 came, I could had put it out if i found the exstinger, It started from papers on a candle, He put his papers on the shelf didnt realise he put them on the candle, We had stay another friends house next 3 nites, The room i was staying in was on 2nd floor so it got lot of smoke damage, Everything is going ok repairs will be starting next week, Its all cleaned up and bad areas taken out

This past wed on the 6 i got to Ride a long with Richmond station 6 they r the busyest one, It was really fun got 7 calls and Rode a Ladder for first time, They call it Quint, Got few picts dunno when i get them I rode from 830am to 630pm got to eat lunch and dinner with the crew and crew was great i had a blast

My buddy has 3 horses so i got to ride, feed and learn a thing or 2 about them,

That's great, Dave! Sounds like ya had quite a trip!!! Glad your friend's house wasn't too badly damaged. How did ya like horseback riding???

Thanks, It was fun little scarey for 1st time riding LOL, I even took her up the steps on the pourch LOL

Glad you enjoyed it! I haven't ridden horseback in more years than I want to think about! LOL
