PORT CHESTER EX ENGINE 60 is dedicated to Firefighter EUGENE MILLER PORT CHESTER FIRE DEPT RESCUE 40 who died in the line of duty in 1991 while operating at a working fire on traverse ave. he is always in our hearts and minds, also the 343 that we all will never forget.

Thanks for sharing.I wish I could have been there. My chapter, the Crown Firecoach Enthusiasts' (SPAAMFA Southern California Chapter) is hosting the 2009 Winter Convention in pomona in Los Angeles County next February.

While the "boys" were busy playing in the water, I wandered around the various locations and shot a few of what else was on display.

Numerous streams create a rainbow over the canal, and even the ladders got in on the fun!

Within 10 minutes of arriving at Long Branch Park for Saturday's muster, water was already flying everywhere! Meanwhile, yours truly prepares to gear up for "hard suction detail".

"Never Forget" - an ex-FDNY Seagrave ladder lettered with all the names, listed by company, of the 343 brothers lost on September 11, 2001. A sight to behold, no doubt.

1970 Crown Firecoach pumper......a RARE sight on the East Coast! Also, a 1943 American LaFrance, ex-Middletown, NY. Now privately owned.

A pair of beautiful Mack B-Models. 1954 from Radnor, PA. and year unknown, lettered for "Buttermilk Farms". Unsure if that's a real department or not, but it looks great, regardless.

"Big Bertha", a 1923 Ahrens-Fox which formerly served the Syracuse Fire Department, and was restored by members of the Central New York Chapter of SPAAMFAA, pumps water on the shore of Onondaga Lake. And, this is what happens when you charge a hose line that hasn't been used in 20-odd years.....OOPS!

A beautifully restored 1923 American LaFrance from Toronto, Ontario, and a pair of sweet looking Ahrens-Foxes.

And, last but not least, a Dodge Power Wagon out of Pottersville, NJ, and another shot of the beautiful Radnor, PA Mack B-model, during a brief appearance by the sun. I love this rig!
