Description: American Airlines Flight 31 to Honolulu, after taking off from LAX, returned to the airport for an emergency landing and evacuation via emergency slides after a smell of smoke 30 minutes into their flight. LAFD treated 6 passengers at the scene for bumps, bruises and other minor injuries.
