Time: about 10:30 a.m

Location: North & Cortland streets.

Frequency:

Units Operating: City of Middletown Police, Orange County Sheriffs, City of Middletown Fire Dept(Car 2, E-1, Fire-Police), MLSS

Description Of Incident: murder-suicide. Police & Sheriffs Deputies located the suspect on a porch at 61 Wickham Ave. But before police could talk to the suspect, he turned towards them, stuck a handgun in his mouth and shot himself. He was pronounced dead in the scene.
