The wheeled coaches are garbage they were sold to us when we first changed to an ambulance corp the handles on the box are a constant problem the service guy comes when he feels like to look at an ambulance. we kept an ambulance third due for 3 weeks last summer because the A/C didnt work he came 3 after it was broken. It was built like crap

i think as long as you stay away from PL Custom, you'll be fine! poorly made rigs and even worse customer service. at valhalla we're looking towards lifeline, fraiser or horton for the new 82B2.

good luck mohegan

Thanks for the news, MoFire24!!

Lifeline's are awesome, and I photographed their new 69-B-3 earlier this year, as well as several other Lifeline deliveries. They build a solid products. I've worked in numerous brands of boxes, and Lifeline's are my favorite.

Here's Mohegan's current Lifeline:

I'm guessing the new one will be similar.

My only question, LMFD VAC runs A LOT of calls...with the volume, was a medium duty chasis considered?

It was thought about and we inquired alot when we purchased the current 69B1 no matter what medium duty chassis you buy it makes the ride in the back for the crew and the patient very bumpy and rough. the E 450 Chassis has been pretty good for us and the lifeline is a solid box well built and almost sound proofed when you are in the back.
