fire command arrived and reported heavy fire and smoke showing req. 2nd alarm. Soon after this went to 3rd alarm. The fire was reported under control about a 1/2 hour later.

KIRYAS JOEL — The village’s volunteer ambulance corps lost its newest vehicle early Monday morning when it burst into flames while parked in the ambulance garage on Forest Road, fire officials say.
