Builders Charged With Not Paying Proper Wages On Public Projects

I'm not positive, but I think I remember this company being involved with a few different municpal projects in the area, possibly including firehouses. I believe these companies do a lot of work for Tartaglione Construction Management of Peekskill.

After a quick Google Seach, it appears Fairview FD will be using the above companies, Suprising, especially since Fairview's part of the strong Local 1586.

A Manhattan builder and three companies were charged yesterday with stealing more than $1 million from the Clarkstown school district by not paying proper wages, prosecutors said.
