A while back a friend of mine got pulled over for speeding through Montana - he received no points, and his only fine was to pay $50 for the wasting of fossil fuels.

Geez.... well maybe some departments should cut back on traffic stops. So ticket fine, court fine and now a fuel fine.... Thats like being shot at, living, and then after all the charges and fines you paying for those rounds fired. doesnt the tax payer pay for the gas to begin with? SCAM some people are walking away with full pockets.. Time to get channel 2 news "Shame on You" crew out there.
