Ohio Double LODD Homeowner/Dope Grower Gets Probation

The homeowner charged with growing marijuana in the home where who Colerain Township firefighters lost their lives has been sentenced to two years of probation for cultivating the drugs in his home. Matthew Cones was sentenced in a Hamilton County courtroom Thursday morning, where he received the sentence for cultivating marijuana, a fifth degree felony.

A fireworks factory owner and his son have been charged with the manslaughter of two firefighters who died tackling an explosion.

Retained firefighter Geoff Wicker, 49, and support officer Brian Wembridge, 63, were killed in the blast at Alpha Fireworks Ltd in East-Sussex on December 3 2006.
