I was wondering is there any Fire Depts that will let you join up here if you live down in the city? I was a Firemen before i moved to new york and i would like to be again I work up in kisco if that helps im not sure....

It varies with each department. Some will allow outsiders who live within three miles outside the district lines, others will allow employment within the district.

One question that you may be asked, even though you work in Mt. Kisco, would you be allowed to respond to alarms while working?
