MVA w/ Excellent Scene Safety

No matter what you do your going to be exposed in some way to traffic, there's just no real way around it. As far as the crew stepping out of traffic, most cabs are cab over so you can get out on either side. I don't see going to the back as a big no no..set up a saftey lane with cones and flares and while one is getting equipment out the other is watching traffic.

The cab is also pointed towards the barrier and the wheels should be in that direction also so if it does get hit it won't go into traffic.
