Jones Beach EMS

While at Jones Beach today, I saw a number of guys wearing Jones Beach EMS shirts. I am curious if anyone has information about this agency. Do they transport? BLS or ALS?

I've been to the Air Show on Memorial Day for the last 3 years and have never seen a Jones Beach Ambulance. I've usually see NCPD or several of the vollie squads on standby. They are licensed by NYS as a BLS first non transport agency. I seem to remember seeing a suburban based at their first aid staion on the boardwalk near the water tower.

Jones Beach has a EMS "squad" we call it...lol. I don't know exactly what the name is. They have ATV's with BLS capabilities. They are the guys in the bright yellow shirts roaming up and down the beach. I believe the County PD out there handle the ambulances and do the transporting. Similar setup at Robert Moses Beach.
