1951 Mack Pumper

Not sure if I'm posting this in the right topic or not....

A friend of mine is interested in buying a 1951 Mack pumper from a state auction. Not quite sure how much it is worth, and he definitely doesn't want to bid too little...or too much!! Anyone know of where to find out it's value???

It has approximately 10,000 miles on it. Supposively it is in "good" condition with little to no rust and runs.

Rule of thumb , what model is it A,E, EH, L, JR,, what does it have for a motor 431,501, 707a,707b, 10050 hall scott what size pump 250,500,750,1000,1250. see were i am going with this. best guess $3,000 to $5,000 but that doesnt mean it could not go for $15,000. lots more info is needed and photos.
