Emergency Operations Rehabilitation

Course Description:

A recent change to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1584 (Standard on the Rehabilitation Process for Members During Emergency Operations and Training Exercises) from “recommendation” to “standard” requires that each fire department develop and implement Standard Operating Guidelines (SOGs) that outline how they provide rehabilitation at incidents and training exercises. In this session, Westchester DES Fire Instructor, Tom Macpherson will discuss everything EMS personnel need to know about emergency operations rehabilitation including how they may be best utilized to help protect personnel at an incident scene.

Date and Time: Thursday, May 1st, 2008 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM

Targeted Audience: NY State Certified Emergency Medical Services Personnel

Parking is available in the new Walker Road lot adjacent to the training center.

Registration: Walk-ins are not permitted. Class size is limited.
