Vials of Life - Peekskill Fire/Paramedics

1 post in this topic

Peekskill Professional Firefighter and Paramedic Kevin McGovern explains the "Vial of Life" to Catherine Tarchine of Peekskill at Centennial Hose Company No.4 in Peekskill Dec. 8, 2004.

The Firefighters Local 2343 are distributing the plastic vials that contain a resident's vital medical information, which helps emergency crews determine proper care of a patient on a scene. Crews are alerted to the vials, which are kept in the refrigerator by a magnet placed on the door.
