Calling All EMTBRAVO Members in Peekskill

The members of the Sam Oitice Heroes Remembered Memorial committee would like to invite all our friends and supporters who live in Peekskill to come show your support for Sam and the memorial tomorrow night at the Public Hearing for the Riverfront redevelopment. This is the second of 4 public hearings and we need your support.

The committee would like to place the memorial at the Riverfront and with all the pieces except the wall completed and sitting in Cincinatti since last September, we would like to get them in the ground this year. We need to have the public voice their support for the location of the memorial as placement this year was proposed and it was tabled in favor of storage until the new firehouse is built(a site has not been picked, the land has not been secured, the design is not ready, do I need to say anymore about how far from completion this project is?)

If you agree and would like to see the memorial at the riverfront, please come to the meeting and respectfully voice a positive vote for the riverfront location. We do not want to make this political, we just want to show the support for this long overdue memorial and the location we feel is best suited for public viewing.

I think this is a great Idea for the Peekskill Fire Dept and the residents of Peekskill
