Description Of Incident: A Norwalk PD Officer stepped out of his vehicle to investigate suspicious activity in a parking lot on Lubrano Place in South Norwalk. Upon exiting his vehicle the Police Officer was met with an undisclosed amount of gunfire. The Officer succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Helicopters and various PD units assisting in crime scene processing and search for suspects. As of 08:47 no arrest have been made, the investigation is on going.
