I was in Savannah last night. Hell of a time, until the power went out, it started raining, and I got separated from my group for 3 hours.

Myself and "ryefd192" will be "Shipping Up To Boston" tomorrow for the annual Dropkick Murphys show. If anyone else is going, just look for the two tallest least-Irish looking guys in the place! (This will be my 22nd Dropkicks show... I think I need to join a support group...)

Two men were sitting next to each other at a bar. After a while, one guy looks at the other and says, "I can't help but think, from listening to you, that you're from Ireland."

The other guy responds proudly, "Yes that I am"

The first guy says, "So am I. And where about from Ireland might you be?"

The other guy answers, "I'm from Dublin, I am."

The first guy responds, "Sure and begora, and so am I. And what street did you live on in Dublin?”

The other guy says, "A lovely little area it was, I lived on McCleary Street in the old central part of town."

The first guy says, "Faith abd it's a small world, so did I.! So did I. And to what school would you have been going?"

The other guy answers, "Well now, I went to St. Mary's of course."

The first guy gets really excited and says, "And so did I. Tell me, what year did you graduate?"

The other guy answers, "Well, now, let's see, I graduated in 1964."

The first guy exclaims, "The Good Lord must be smiling down upon us! I can hardly believe our good luck at winding up in the same bar tonight. Can you believe it, I graduated from St. Mary's in 1964 my own self."

About this time, Vicky walks into the bar, sits down, and orders a beer.

Brian, the bartender, walks over to Vicky, shaking his head and mutters, "It's going to be a long night tonight"

Vicky asks, "Why do you say that, Brian?"

"The Murphy twins are drunk again."

We made it there safe ,marched. LOL hung out for a long while and made it home safe but very tired.

Ahh, thats why Connelly's was ridiculously packed lol. We were in there for about 3 minutes, if it takes to long to get a beer, i get inpatient. Now i'm pissed, i would have loved to see them! Every Irish bar in the City was packed, as would be expected. Im not a large crowd kind of guy, probably has to do with me not being a "people person." Or the fact that i hate not being able to move, waiting to long for a beer and getting beer and/or other liquids spilled on me :angry: !

The parade (NYC) was awesome as always and the bars were a good time. My fiancee is from Vermont, so it was her 1st NYC St. Pats outing, needless to say she cant wait the 364 days til the next one !

I may have missed Shilelagh Law, but we did catch the Westchester Co. Police Emerald Society Pipes & Drums at Calico Jacks which was awesome!
