I was aware that there was a crane collapse today at 2:20 PM between 50th Street and 2nd Avenue. Anybody have any thought how this could have happened or info on the tragedy. Let the four decesaed rest in peace.

i have it in the incident alert. News was reporting that the crane was lifting a piece of concrete.

4th Alarm, 10-60. Looks like the crane toppled backwards, struck one building, snapped, and the remaining pieces got thrown over 51st and 50th streets. I'll have the full rundown tomorrow.
