Alot of good examples of why we should follow OSHA/NFPA when dealing with HAZMATs here. Thank God this incident didn't turn out worse. Its regretable that the incident turned out the way it did, but at least the Fire Chief is recognizing his mistake and accepting responsibility, unlike the "I wouldn't change anything about the response" attitude we got from a big-city Chief (who will remain nameless) over on this coast.
