The Millville Volunteer Fire Company will be accepting applications for two (2) positions of NREMT-B/Firefighter, working a 24 hour shift with 72 hours off.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

18 years of age

Must hold following certificates:

NREMT-B

CPR/AED

Basic Firefighting Skills NFPA 1001 Firefighter I

Structural Firefighting Skills

NFPA 472 Hazmat OPS.

Vehicle Rescue

Valid DE driver’s license

EVO license

Must be able to lift 150 lbs. w/ assistance from second person.

Job Description:

Must be self-motivated, responsible, reliable, and be able to work well w/ others.

Must be able to complete assigned tasks w/ minimal supervision.

Background check/DOT/SCBA/drug tests required for all successful applicants.

Light janitorial duties & maintenance of all EMS units.

Assist in any other duties/functions deemed necessary by EMS Captain.
