We want to keep this forum fun... interesting.

There is nothing wrong with YouTube videos, but simply posting a link with ONLY a Subject line without any description and/or your opinion in the body of your post *could* be subject to a lock (at best)or a post "poof".

p*** links are not allowed (Really. We mean it!)

Let's keep the utterly graphic to a minimum.

Hey ...sometimes it happens... take a deep breath ... It's not the end of the world ... move along.

I personally do not mind the occasional re-posts...I do, however, mind the constant flaming when a user posts one.

Flames WILL be extinguished!

If you have checked and still feel you have a link that has been posted over and over in this forum:

Instant Message Me with:

1) The url

2) A description of the site (please keep it brief)

3) Two examples of posts with the same link in the last 30 days. (Urls of the post only please)

Many of those video's really speak for themselves. Your saying if we only want to share it with everyone (and let whomever may want to comment do so), you will delete it?

I understand what you mean. If that's the case a brief description of the content is all I'm looking for.

I don't intend to go around deleting everything without comments.

I agree with Jack on this one. It wont kill you to take three seconds to type in a brief description of the video and maybe WHY you posted it in the first place. For all we know you just think its cool. Try and make some kind of learning experience from sharing videos...

Like; "Saw this video today, had some great shots of hydraulic ventilation being used and thought it would be nice to share."

Short, sweet, didnt take me long to type and atleast now the readers know what they are looking for in the video clip.

Am I right or wrong?

Moose, you are 100% correct! While an occaisional clip posted simply because it was funny, is fine cause God knows, we could always use a good laugh to lift our spirit, let's focus on making the majority have some interesting or educational vakue. And, it only takes a few seconds to type a desdription of what you are sharing.
