FYI: Back in the early 1980's or so, Yonkers had an agreement with the Greenville FD to cover any fires at the nursing home located on the corner of Jackson Avenue @ East Grassy Sprain Road, Greenburgh. Iit was written up in the newspaper along with mentioning that YFD Station 14 would also respond to the Fountainhead condos on Central Avenue @ the Greenburgh border. Not sure if this agreement still stands or not...

July 4th,1990 - A very busy 4th of July for the YFD. Numerous outside rubbish, brush and structure fires going thruout the City, when this job came in on Hill Terrace.

Due to limited availability of Companies, E-307 arrived 1st due from another job across town, and operated for some time before the 1st due Truck, L-73 also arrived from across town..........

Ladder-73 acends the stick, to get the roof- when fire blows out the front dormer (the fire was cooking in the attic for a while before companies got to location)...................
