Strange But True In Croton

THURSDAY, February 7

-At 7:14 p.m. police received a call reporting a "suspicious vehicle" parked at the far end of the lot that serves the Croton-Harmon District Office on Gerstein Street. The responding officer subsequently charged the person in the driver's seat, Luis Morocho, 47, of Broadway, Ossining, with obscenity in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor, after observing the man with "a homemade sexual device." Police would not elaborate. Mr. Morocho was subsequently released on $500 bail.

It takes all kinds of characters to keep things going. Glad it was just some wierd hoople rather than some jerk who had more violent intentions.

I'm starting to like this guy.

In this week's Gazette, apparently when he went to Police HQ to go about getting his vehicle from impound, he passed off fake insurance cards. They arrested him again, he paid his bail and has a court date coming up.

Hopefully he moves here and runs for village board in a few years!
