Occaquan Woodbridge Lorton Vol Fire Department in Prince William County, VA. Home of the Quantico Marine Base and the FBI Academy. A suburb of Washington. DC. Their regular web site is down for renovation but this is from the county web site.

Not a bad looking rig... Do they get alot of collapse calls in O.W.L. or is this a predominantly mutual aid resource?

Quantico is actually split between 2 counties.

Half is in Prince William County near the Dumfries/Triangle and the other half in in Stafford County.

The area outside the base in Prince William is covered by the Dumfries/Triangle FD and I can't remember the actual Stafford County FD on the south end of base, but I believe it may be Widewater.

OWL is a bit farther north and borders Dale City, VA and cover a pretty large section from Fairfax County down to Dale City. They had some of the nicest equipment I've seen when I was stationed and lived down there.

Nice rig. Gainesville District (Company 4 in Prince William County) used to run a Mack Rescue. Occoquan is a cute little town; I passed through it on my drive from L.I. to Williamsburg and had a nice meal at the Virginia Grill:

PGFD has their rotos but O.W.L. FD has always had the three 888's for many years. I believe www.firepics.net has pictures of their entire fleet and they have some very unique apparatus configurations set up for their response. Also FAJ had a profile on O.W.L. FD in one of their bi-monthly publications last year, I wanna say it was the June-July edition.
