Just doing some research/curious...

Does your FD/EMS Agency have an ID Card?

What information is on it? (besides name/rank/id#)

Is there any other special markings to show its unique? (IE holigram or anything)

Authorization signature.

I feel the Signature is very important. It holds the card as a document .If it is not valid and still used , the person displaying the card is using it improperly.

The expiration shows the member to be somewhat current.

yeah I like the signature idea. - how realistic is getting a thumbprint on the id though?

and it is all laminated so it will not smuch and run if it gets wet

i also carry my shield with me in my wallet at all times
