Here is a fun little Size-up Drill. I was driving around and thought I would snap this picture of my old rental house. It brings up interesting Size-up challenges.

What would you do if theres a fire here?

What type of construction is it?

Any Hazards?

i have learned thru the years and it has been drilled in my head.. no matter size, const. type, etc - DO NOT ENTER a bowtruss bulding if there is fire impingment on the trusses.

Now with that said, I would call this very similar to shotgun bungalow found in the south, but with a bowtruss style construction.

As for fire operations:

Size up - One Story SFD w/ bow truss roof w/ basment access side delta.
