PRO-95 and Diamond RH77CA

I have a PRO-95 scanner and I am thinking of getting a Diamond RH77CA to replace my current antenna. There our a lot of positive reviews of the RH77CA and I was curious what some local people thought. If you got a RH77CA do you think it improved you reception.

Our very own SteveOFD has endorsed that antenna, and I sent away for one, and so did TR54 and DOC22, based on his recommendation.

It is well worth it. The supplied antenna is for multi band and does not do any band very well. The Diamond RH77CA is tuned for best reception at 150MHz and 450MHz. It will blow the supplied antenna away.

I have used the Diamond on my Yaesu FT-530 for 10 years, awesome antenna !

Anyone ever use one of these as a mobile scanner antenna. I heard they work awesome.

I've used this antenna on my truck for several years and had great results with it. I'm on my second one now and getting ready to put it on my new truck.

Mine was out for delivery, on yup you gur=essed it FRIDAY, Ups didn't gey as far up as Lake Carmel, so I guess I'll have to wait till Monday.

Just got mine today!!!! What a difference!!!!! And, I bought the better quality antenna from Radio Shack when I bought the scanner last year, and this one even blows that one out of the water!!!!!

After I had the new antenna on the scanner up in Lake Carmel, I heard 60 Control dispatch Mount Kisco on 33.96. iI've NEVER heard anything on 33.96, since I moved up here!

Does any one know where i can get a yeasu fixed I have an ft-60 that stopped working . any help would be great.
