Millbrook Reported Barn Fire 1/26/08

A few photos from Millbrook's barn fire on Verbank Rd. in the Town of Washington. A newborn calf suffered burns when a heating lamp ignited some hay and a stall partition. Minor damage to the barn.

I hope you guys bill that Calf's insurance! If they don't pay up...you can always dock her a few quarts of milk each month with interest!

u laugh...we just got a grant that the main part of the grant was dog o2 masks..along with them we also got new gas meters plus a few other small other things....but in order to get grant we had to get dog o2 masks

I guess I do need to explain before I get beaten up to bad. You would think when you see an incident alert for a barn fire , there are pictures of a barn fire. Not a calf with a non rebreather on. Hope they didn't have to mooooove out. LOL

YES it is. Jason Seaman is standing with his back in the picture talking to his father Rick. Laurie Olson, Rick's ex-wife is the person in the Orange Squad jacket tending to the calf as well. Talk about a family affair.

All in jest Chief.....absolutely no disrespect. Like I mentioned before - GREAT customer service and public relations! Priceless!

Funny to see a little kid who tagged along with his Dad when Dad was a Lieutenant, a member...makes ya feel old...can't imagine how Rick feels! :P

Not making fun of anyone - especially not the Patron Saint of the Millbrook Rescue Squad - you got that butt kicking part right for sure!

I was never a member of MOO...MILLBROOK (LOL) always a member of P.V.F.D. 20 YRS, 2 OF THOSE A CAREER GUY. Just a little humor I don't mean to piss anyone off. And yes Rich I know who you are.
