Description Of Incident: Possible serious MVA

Originally dispatched as disabled vehicle in the road. U/A PD reports single vehicle with serious damage, placing STAT Flight on standby.

PD updates, single occupant out of vehicle, self extricated. Standing down STAT Flight, patient conscious. Dispatch VAC and medic.

Arrived to find single female occupant out of vehicle and seated in PD cruiser. Serious damage to 2 door sedan on passenger side second to impact with utility pole. Large amount of intrusion. Shoulder belt on driver side ripped from frame of car in collision. Windshield split and shattered.

Patient transported ALS to Stamford hospital.
