WCPD Question

Does anyone have any information regarding the Westchester Police Department? I was wondering if they have an ESU team and if its functions are similar to the NYPD or Yonkers (like responding to car accidents,ems calls, haz-mat calls, dive team, etc)?

Westchester County Dept of Public Safety has a bunch of specialized units. Plus there is the County Sherriff's, now called Public Safety Emergency Force

WCPD had an ESU unit but was disbanded a few years back. Like the above post stated they do have alot of specialty units including an excellent special response team an an aviation unit to name a few. Chris 192 would be the man to answer any questions you may have.....

I think it was the 25 Truck for a long time. They do have a 25 car that covers the Grasslands Reservation. They also have a 25M car that is assigned to the Childrens hospital.
