Description Of Incident:

2:00- Commercial alarm at T.C.C

2:05- Eng 156 responding

2:10- Eng 156 on location

2:12- Car 2198 asked for a upgraded alarm for heavy smoke on the number 3 floor and 4 floor penthouse

2:12- Hawthorne and Valhalla toned out for heavy smoke in the building at above location

2:16- all units responding

2:17- 2198 reports heating unit fire on the number 4 floor penthouse

2:25- all units on location

2:27- 2198 reports all visable fire k/d ATT, still heavy smoke condition on the number 3 and 4 floors

2:28- all units getting reports of black smoke coming from the basement stairwell

2:28- 2198 and eng 156 crew along with 2483 and 2484 with there crews on the way to the basement, with heavy smoke condition

2:30- crews forced entry to basement and confirmed a working fire in the basement

2:30- 2482 and BAT 11 using all hands for fire in the basement and heavy smoke on the number 3 and 4 floors

2:31- any avalibale manpower, report to the 2nd floor to asist with patiant evacuation

2:40- fire in the basement in k/d, checking for extentions att, still heavy smoke condition

3:10- both fires k/d no extentions, units overhauling and venting

3:45- all units, nurse is reporting light smoke on the 2nd floor att

4:00- 2483 to command, smoke is from the fans venting the building

4:20- all units start picking up, ENG's shut down the hydrents

4:45- Valhalla FD units are released

5:30- Hawthorne FD units returning
