We had the same thing happen in my Dept. yrs. ago but the reason why was completely human negligence. The ff. wasn't wearing any of his ppe while using the metal saw and the sparks ignited his pants. He suffered minor burns to his legs but soon returned to duty. Some professional huh!

It was well noted a similar situation in the bronx. It seems guys do not like to make the saw gas cap to tight as the vacuum drawing the fuel in makes it practically impossible for some of the nancy's to open after you run it for a few mins to check it. Well a lose gas cap caused gas to drip out of saw and while it was cutting overhead and caused his coat to light up. And just like the brother in the video he had no idea.
