Suspended Putnam volunteer firefighter faces sex charge

PHILIPSTOWN - A suspended North Highlands volunteer firefighter, charged earlier this year with stealing gas from the department, faces new charges after a Putnam deputy caught him engaging in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl inside a parked car, police said today.

William Kivel, 19, of 3501 Route 9, Philipstown, was arrested Saturday and charged with sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a minor, misdemeanors, police said.

Unfortunately for you bud...your actual age is what counts...not your mental age...if that was the case...the girl would have been charged with endangerment.
